1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to MilkJatt ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website at milkjatt.com, our mobile application MilkJatt, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

2. Platform Role & Nature of Services

MilkJatt is a technology marketplace platform that connects customers with independent dairy vendors (“Vendors”) who supply and deliver milk and dairy products directly to customers.

MilkJatt does not manufacture, process, store, package, or directly handle milk products. All products listed on the Platform are supplied and delivered by independent Vendors who are responsible for compliance with applicable food safety laws.

3. Vendor Compliance

• All Vendors are required to possess valid FSSAI registration or license, where applicable.
• Vendors are solely responsible for product quality, safety, hygiene, and legal compliance.
• MilkJatt may conduct periodic verification or quality audits at its discretion.
• Such verification does not transfer primary liability from Vendor to MilkJatt.

4. Orders and Payments

A. Order Placement

When you place an order, you are purchasing products directly from the Vendor. MilkJatt facilitates order processing and payment collection on behalf of the Vendor.

B. Subscription Services

• Subscription terms are defined during signup.
• Recurring payments continue until cancellation.
• Advance notice may be required for modifications.

C. Payment Terms

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹).
• Payments are processed via third-party payment gateways.
• MilkJatt may collect payments as a facilitator on behalf of Vendors.

D. Refunds and Complaints

• Quality issues must be reported within 2 hours of delivery.
• MilkJatt may coordinate resolution between customer and Vendor.
• Final responsibility for product defects lies with the Vendor.

5. Delivery Policy

Delivery of products is performed by independent Vendors or their delivery personnel. MilkJatt does not directly control delivery execution.

• Delivery slots are determined by the Vendor.
• Service availability may vary by location.
• MilkJatt may assist in resolving delivery disputes.

6. Product Quality & Safety

Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring that products comply with applicable food safety and quality standards.

MilkJatt does not guarantee absence of adulteration or contamination but may conduct reasonable due diligence, including vendor verification and periodic quality checks.

Customers acknowledge that agricultural products such as milk may have natural variations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MilkJatt acts solely as an intermediary platform and shall not be liable for:

• Adulteration, contamination, or defects caused by Vendors
• Acts or omissions of Vendors
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss due to improper storage after delivery

MilkJatt’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid through the Platform for the specific transaction.

8. Indemnification

Vendors agree to indemnify and hold MilkJatt harmless from any claims, penalties, damages, or regulatory actions arising from food safety violations, adulteration, or non-compliance with applicable laws.

9. User Conduct

• No illegal or fraudulent activity
• No harassment of Vendors or staff
• No misuse of promotional schemes
• No automated scraping or system interference

10. Termination

MilkJatt may suspend accounts for violation of these terms, fraud, abuse, or legal non-compliance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Force Majeure

MilkJatt shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
